I'd never heard of Pioneer Day before moving to Utah. It's a pretty big deal here... this year we went to the Pioneer Day Extravaganza then followed that up with a BBQ and fireworks at Uncle Ben's house. The dress she's wearing is one I wore as a child, so it's a family heirloom =)
